Genspace at TED Global
At the end of June, Genspace was asked to present at TED Global in Edinburgh Scotland. The theme was ‘Radical Openness’ , so how much more appropriate could citizen science be for this conference? Genspace’s Ellen Jorgensen spoke about the worldwide DIYbio movement, and Oliver and guest Cathal Garvey wowed the crowd with demos of DIY genotyping using extracted cheek cells and PCR.
